Bihar Government gives 50 percent subsidy on Coriander Fenugreek Cultivation


To increase the income of the farmers of Bihar, the government is emphasizing on the cultivation of spices. Apart from this, to promote the cultivation of spices in the state, emphasis is being laid on cultivation of coriander and fenugreek under the Seed Spice Scheme. Under this, the government is giving 50 percent subsidy to the farmers. Under this scheme, farmers can earn good income by cultivating coriander and fenugreek.

Bihar Government, Horticulture Directorate, Agriculture Department said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ i.e. Tutor, 50 percent subsidy will be given on the cultivation of coriander and fenugreek under the Seed Spices Scheme. This is a golden opportunity to increase the income of farmers. Under the Seed Spices Scheme 2024-25, farmers will get a subsidy of Rs 15,000 per hectare.

Farmers go to the home page of the official website and then select the scheme option. After this click on Seed Spices Scheme. Apply for subsidy on coriander and fenugreek in the next option. After clicking here, the registration form will open in front of the farmer. After this, fill all the requested information in the application. After filling all the details your application will be submitted successfully.

If farmers of Bihar want to produce coriander and fenugreek under the Seed Masala Scheme 2024-25, they can register online. Apart from this, farmers can also get more information by contacting the agriculture or horticulture department office of their district.
